Bacon, Spinach, and Caramelized Onion Pasta

6 ounces of whole wheat penne pasta
4 ounces of chopped bacon
1 large yellow onion diced
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 cup generousof spinach
salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese sprinkles
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente
In a large skillet, add your bacon and cook for 7-10 mins until bacon is crispy
In that same pan, and some butter, sugar, spices, and YUMYIN; sautee until the onion becomes tender, and bacon starts to crisp up.
Once the pasta is done, drain it loosely, but leave a tiny amount of water and add it to the skillet with the bacon, and YUMYIN mixture.
Mix in the spinach and stir until tender
Sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
